The idea of the kit is cute but the implementation is a disaster. It's not worth the money. The clay cracks and breaks easily. The base coat doesn't come out of the bottle well and can only be applied unevenly. What’s worse is that it doesn't seal the pores and forms bubbles, which then crack. Then you can't paint it at all and you have to peel the base coat off and re-prime the clay. Sometimes I even had to do this more than twice. A total waste! The gloss varnish doesn't work well either. I am aware that it is not food safe and should not come into contact with water, but should I let my stuff gather dust and just store it in boxes? When I tried to clean a bowl with a slightly damp cloth, the coating tore right through and holes appeared! You can also find glass coasters on the Internet as an example, which theoretically don't make any sense either. I don't understand what the selfmade pieces are supposed to be used for. I am so disappointed. It was supposed to be a relaxing hobby, but it just frustrates me! Save your money!

I started off great with a few creations but then other ones started to crack whilst drying and you can’t use the clay again once it’s dried, the paint comes off easily and seems to make the clay go wet again so some creations even if dried can easily crack or break when decorating them (so frustrating if you spent a long time creating your objects). Even with the guides for different creations it’s very hard to get good shapes that hold because of the weight and texture of the clay, the actual gloss included in the package is basically just glue that kids would use for arts and crafts, so it peels off when dry, if you want to really preserve your creations I suggest buying an actual varnish. The tools and paints included in the kit will be useful for other projects. Started off really excited about this kit but ended up disappointed and frustrated with some of the results.

Being creative is good for the soul - not to mention having something (almost) useful. A fabulous way to spend a rainy afternoon or a date night.

Lovely idea for a cute night in with friends, nice and neat packaging and cards with ideas on if you’re not feeling too spontaneous! Easy to use instructions/guide, a perfect present for someone or treat for yourself!

Très facile à appréhender, l'argile se modèle bien, et les résultats peuvent être très jolis si on est doué. Ça sèche bien et même en fait quelque chose de fin, ça ne se craquelle pas.
Bref aucun regret et je vais en racheter !
